Payment Information

We want checking out at Fishient to be simple, secure and stress-free — wherever in the world you’re tying from. Here are the ways you can pay, along with a few things worth knowing about how payments are handled.

International customers

If you’re ordering from outside South Africa, you’ll pay in US Dollars (USD) through PayPal:

PayPal — Check out quickly and securely using your PayPal account.

Debit or credit card (via PayPal) — You don’t need a PayPal account to pay by card. Simply choose PayPal at checkout and you can pay with any major debit or credit card through PayPal’s secure checkout.

International orders are processed in US Dollars. Your bank or card provider handles any conversion into your local currency, and their exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fees are set by them, not by us — so the amount on your statement may differ slightly from the US Dollar total shown at checkout.

South African customers

If you’re ordering from within South Africa, you’ll pay in South African Rand (ZAR), using whichever of these suits you best:

Direct bank transfer (EFT) — Prefer to pay by electronic transfer? When you choose this option at checkout, we’ll provide our banking details. Please use your order number as the payment reference so we can match your payment quickly. Your order is confirmed once the funds reflect in our account, and is dispatched as soon as payment has cleared.

Paystack — Pay securely by card and other local payment methods through Paystack, a trusted payment gateway. Your payment is processed instantly and your order is confirmed straight away.

Payfast — Pay by card, Instant EFT and other local options through Payfast, one of South Africa’s most established and secure payment gateways.

 

Your security

Your payment security matters to us. Every payment is processed through secure, encrypted, industry-standard payment gateways, and we never see or store your full card details.

A quick note on currency

Prices are shown in South African Rand for local orders and US Dollars for international orders, based on your location — so you’ll always see, and pay, in the currency that applies to you.
