The Fishient group
Shipping Information
We ship Fishient fly tying materials around the world, and we want your order to reach you quickly and safely. Here’s how delivery works for international and South African orders.
Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days.
Â
International Orders
We ship international orders with FedEx International Priority, our main international service, chosen for its speed and reliable end-to-end tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery typically takes around 8–10 business days, depending on your location and customs clearance in your country. You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your parcel all the way to your door.
Â
Import duties & taxes
Any import duties, taxes or customs charges applied by your own country are the responsibility of the customer. These are set by your local authorities, are outside our control, and are not included in the price of your order or your shipping charge.
Â
South African Orders
For deliveries within South Africa, we use The Courier Guy as our local shipping provider. Orders are usually delivered within 1–3 business days of dispatch, with tracking provided so you can keep an eye on your parcel along the way.
Enjoy free local shipping on orders over R1 500.
Â
Alternative shipping arrangements
If you’d prefer a different courier or need to make special delivery arrangements, we’re happy to help — please contact us at tarryn@fishient.com before placing your order so we can set it up for you.
Â
A note on delivery times
Delivery estimates begin once your order has been packed and dispatched, and are guidelines rather than guarantees. Customs processing, remote delivery areas, weather or occasional carrier delays can sometimes affect timing. If your order seems to be taking longer than expected, just reach out and we’ll gladly follow it up with the carrier.
